The botanical garden is located in Bogotá at the av. street 63 #68-95.

The botanical garden maintained and enriched collections of living plants scientifically arranged with more than 18 thousands individuals belonging to native and exotic species.

The botanical garden was inspired by Jose Celestino Mutis, he was the one  that organized and conducted the first meeting between science and art in america. 

The founder of the botanical garden Jose Celestino Mutis was the Colombian scientist Enrique Perez Arbelaez.
