"El Banco de la Republica" started with the "Museo del Oro" on 1939.

Sundays and holidays 10:00 am to 04:00 p.m. (Last departure at 5:00 p.m.)
The museum is not open on mondays, even holydays.

Sundays free entrance for children under 12 and adults over 60 years.

The cathedral is in the same place where was the 12 huts, here were buried Gonzalo Jimenez de Quezada (Bogota faunder), Antonio Nariño (journalist, political and military of the Nueva Granada that helped Colombia for the independence)

This church have this name in honor the Carmelo Mount,
this mount was the first place where people saw the virgin.
It is located in la Candelaria, in the center of Bogota.
It was built in 1938 by the archited Juan Buscaglioni.
It have a gothic architectonic style,the materials that
characterizes it are marble and wood.
The pastor is Juan Pablo Rodríguez and he lives in
the church.
This is not the original place where the church was buillt.
The first name of the church was "Carmelín del Carmel".
The church is most visited on June 16,
"Semana Santa" and December.
