The library's construction started on 2007 and ended on may 2011.
The library has lots of things, like theaters for concerts, special places for computers, kids section, work section...
Santodomingo Family donated 55 thousand million pesos for improving education in Colombia, this means that the library is a public library and anyone can go in.
The services this library gives to people are:
- People can take out books, magazines, newspapers, etc.
- It has more than 600 places for individual literature
- Internet room
- A room with information about Bogotá.
- 2 Theaters
- Parking lots

- It depends if it is weekdays or weekends.
On weekdays aproximately 2000 people and on weekends aproximately 5000-6000.
More or less how much does the taxes increased for building this library?
- Well Santodomingo family donated 55 thousand million pesos, the city hall gave 5.5 acres and gave 33.2 thousand million pesos, why does the taxes have to increase?
How many people come to the kids section?
- Well on weekdays it is between 200- 300 people and on weekends 500-600 people.
